Our Dipping department in Belleville, IL is now looking for a Team Lead Dipping - 2nd Shift.Key Tasks
Accomplishes dipping staff job results by:
Communicating jobexpectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, anddisciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems,policies and procedures; assigningpersonnel to specific duties to cover for absent employees, rotatingresponsibilities, or assigning tasks for the dipping line; deciding on use ofcasual overtime.

Maintains efficient work flow by:
Monitoring steps of the dipping process; settingprocessing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoringpersonnel and resources; studying methods; developing reporting procedures andsystems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process controlpoints; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and betweendepartments.

Completes production plan by:
Scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing workresults; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules;resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow; ensuring the shift meetsproduction goals; entering information on required reports.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by:
Following organization standards, legal regulationsand enforcement of safe work practices in accordance to company safetypolicies.

Maintains quality service by:
Keeping error rates minimaland within acceptable ranges; implementing cost reductions; enforcingorganizational standards and evaluating/analyzing quality reports; relaying theinformation to the appropriate resource; maintaining an efficient work pace;meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy,timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.Provides communication support by:
Communicating across departments to alllevels of management and staff relative information pertaining to departmentresources and product quality.

Resolves personnel problems by:
Investigating issues; identifying solutions;recommending/taking actions.

Ensures operation of equipment by:
Troubleshooting computerproblems; opening facility and disarming alarm system; shutting down facilityand resetting alarm system; operating drying oven computer; resetting oventimes; completing preventative maintenance requirements;following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; callingfor repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment andtechniques; maintaining routinechecks of equipment to prevent product loss.Why Permobil is a great next step for you!1. • High School diploma or GED requiredplus one year related experience required; supervisory or leadership experiencestrongly preferred.
  
• Must be skill checked onall positions within the assigned department
• Abilityto read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenanceinstructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups ofcustomers or employees of the organization.
• Basicpersonal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity,word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
