Job Description:

CONTROLLER

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining internal controls. Additionally, this role includes managing Payroll, Information Technology, and select Human Resource functions to ensure cohesive and efficient operations across these critical areas.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with GAAP. - - - -
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and cash flow. - - - -
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. - - - -
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and tax compliance. - - - -
• Maintain payroll records and resolve payroll-related inquiries. - - - -
• Manage IT operations and ensure data security. - - - -
• Oversee recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration. - - - -
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain employee records.
  
  QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - - - -
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably within a distribution or similar industry. - - - -
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. - - - -
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team. - - - -
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software (ERP systems, Excel, etc.) and a demonstrated ability to implement and utilize financial systems effectively. - - - -
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations. - - - -
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with management
