Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking Crew Systems Design & Integration Engineers to join multiple programs under the Air Dominance division located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.The St. Louis site is the heart of Air Dominance and home to the F-15, F/A-18, T-7, MQ-25, and proprietary programs. As a Crew Systems Design & Integration Engineer you will be responsible for design, development, integration, and performance of the crew station, cockpit equipment, oxygen systems, and escape/egress systems for the F-15, F/A-18, and T-7 programs.   • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
  • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  • Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Experienced and Lead Crew Systems Design & Integration Engineers.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is requiredBasic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
    • Experience working on military aircraftPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Experience with cockpit equipment including design and qualification
      • Experience with aircraft oxygen systems including design and qualification
      • Experience with aircraft escape/egress systems including energetics, ejection qualification, hardware development and qualification
      • Experience with aircraft requirements, requirements management, and specification development
      • Experience with supplier change management (RCP/CCP)
      • Knowledge of appropriate customer or governmental regulations relevant to design, test, and certification (e.g., ASME, MILSPEC).Typical Education/Experience:Experienced (Level 3)Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Lead (Level 4)Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
