investors.The Risk Management Leader will join the Client
Strategies Group Risk Management department as we continue to
accelerate and deepen the front-line risk capabilities of our
firm's Advice, Planning Products and Services in support of our
firm's transformation. The Risk Management Leader will be
responsible for leading capabilities within CSG to better
understand, effectively manage and communicate the risk profile of
the division. This includes the execution of the firm's risk
management framework, in adherence to Enterprise risk standards by
identifying, measuring, responding to and reporting on the risks of
CSG's business, such as operational, strategic, model, financial
and other risk types.
Key Responsibilities:---
Lead a function that executes the firm's risk management framework
and provides value-add, consultative risk coverage to CSG's
functional capabilities by: Identifying, quantifying, and
responding to risks across CSG to enable risk-based actions and
decision-making by business leaders Partnering with business areas
to conduct risk assessments in accordance with the CSG Risk
Management Framework and Enterprise risk standards Co-developing
risk mitigation strategies and action plans with risk owners to
address highest priority risks Synthesizing risk data into
meaningful reporting, tailored to various audiences and levels in
the organization Cultivating front line risk ownership and
accountability Providing ongoing risk consultation, support and
constructive challenge to the business Designing and leading
cross-divisional risk governance and accountability frameworks for
business areas
Attract, develop and engage best-in
class risk management talent Champion a strong risk culture for the
division via elevating the risk knowledge base of associates and
leaders of the division and deploying risk management best
practices across the division Lead divisional representation to
consult on, co-create, execute and align on key ERM initiatives
Identify opportunities and execute
plans to mature the 4 Pillars of the CSG risk management framework
- Risk Identification, Risk Measurement, Risk Response, Risk
Insights Coordinate with many other business areas, including
connecting with peer risk teams and SMEs to align and provide
thought leadership on divisional and Enterprise priorities, firm
programs or projects, in addition to ad hoc initiatives requiring
risk coverage. Ensure that external events and emerging risks are
considered and managed accordingly Continue to develop and share
deep knowledge and understanding of broader industry, risk
management best practices Skills / Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced
degree or industry designation (e.g. - CFA, FRM) preferred Series 7
required or attainable within twelve months of hire 7+ years risk
management, internal controls, internal audit, or experience with
comprehensive knowledge of risk management Relevant or comparable
experience preferred, such as financial services, wealth
management, asset management, investment products, etc.
Previous leadership experience
preferred, with a focus on diversity and inclusion Experience in
building relationships and networks, at varying levels in the
organization Ability to strategically plan and effectively execute
Strong analytical, problem-solving and systems thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to
tailor communication based on the audience
Ability to lead in an environment of
significant change

and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other
