The Boeing Team is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager that will work with the Cruise Missile program in Saint Charles, MO. Prospective managers will be managing sub assembly or final assembly operations with direct accountability for team and product safety, quality, cost and schedule performance. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members, peers and various levels of management as well as the ability to rapidly diagnose production issues and take appropriate action is critical to success. Position Responsibilities: - Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines and assembly processes to support the Boeing Cruise Missile production factory. - Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies. - Provides technical management, leading process improvements. - Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture - Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. - Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. - Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees. - Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives. - Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. - Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. - Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. - Manages, develops and motivates shop floor employees. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Candidates must be able to work any shift, as assigned - 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures. - 3+ years of experience working with collective bargaining agreements and an hourly union-represented workforce. - 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change. - 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives. - 3+ years of experience leading or managing multi-functional teams in Quality or continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience Security Clearance This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
