Clean Harbors, a leading provider in environmental and industrial services across North America, is seeking a qualified Class A / B CDL Driver / Equipment Operator proficient in manual transmission to join our team. This position involves operating heavy equipment and driving vehicles that require a Class A or B CDL to assist in environmental clean-up operations and other service tasks. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safe transport and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with company protocols and environmental regulations. This role is vital in our mission to protect the environment through dedicated and responsible treatment, transport, and disposal of hazardous materials. Operate heavy trucks and equipment requiring a Class A or B CDL. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Prepare and maintain transport documents and logs. Communicate with dispatch and customer sites to ensure efficient service delivery. Respond to emergency spill responses as needed. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards Ability to handle hazardous materials safely Good geographical knowledge for effective route planning Excellent communication and organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements preferred Clean driving record DOT physical card
