The Kubernetes Platform Engineer is responsible to maintain the Kubernetes platform, assist application teams with platform-related issues, and deliver new platform capabilities. You'll work as a member of a team focused on providing an excellent and continuously improving platform for our users.

What You'll Do:

• Assist team in managing the Kubernetes lifecycle including security and platform upgrades
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of incidents in mission-critical systems (on-call support as part of a rotation) and participate in preventative problem management activities
• Provide day-to-day support for the Kubernetes platforms
• Assist users as they migrate workloads between Kubernetes clusters
• Develop automation to improve team processes and the user experience of the platform
  • 7+ years of experience in the IT field with a focus on cloud-native technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Significant experience supporting Kubernetes -n private and public clouds, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service
  • Experience supporting applications in Kubernetes
  • Experience using common development and promotion tools:
    • Jenkins
    • GitHub
    • Docker
    • YAML
    • Terraform
    • Experience using APM and log analysis tools, such as Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk
