Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging IT Training Specialist to lead the development and delivery of technical training programs for the IT staff of our client. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives that enhance team performance, support skill development, and ensure alignment with the client's organizational goals. This position is in person, in the office (not remote), and in St. Louis, MO.
Key Responsibilities
Training Design & Delivery

• Design and develop instructional content, training materials, user guides, and documentation tailored to the needs of IT professionals.
• Deliver engaging training sessions in both in-person and virtual formats, including workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to optimize learning experiences.
  Needs Assessment & Program Development
  
  • Collaborate with department leads to assess technical skill gaps and training needs.
  • Create targeted training plans to support onboarding, upskilling, and ongoing professional development.
  • Adapt training approaches to accommodate different learning styles and technology adoption levels.
    Evaluation & Improvement
    
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
    • Revise training content and delivery methods based on learner feedback and evolving business needs.
    • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure training content remains relevant.
      Documentation & Support
      
      • Maintain up-to-date training materials, user documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
      • Provide post-training support and resources to help reinforce learning and improve adoption of IT systems and tools.
        Required Qualifications
        
        • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
        • 4+ years of experience in developing and delivering technical training programs within an IT or enterprise environment.
        • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
        • Proficiency with e-learning tools, LMS platforms, and collaboration technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex).
        • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand materials for diverse audiences.
        • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications
        • Experience working in Agile or fast-paced IT environments.
        • Familiarity with adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies .
