The Talent Acquisition Specialist is the first point of contact for
candidates and represents our employer brand to potential talent.
This role owns and executes the talent strategy for the company by
managing the full lifecycle recruitment process for most positions
throughout the company. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will
proactively search for the best talent to fill a number of
positions to support our growing business, on a global scale. This
role champions the diversity and inclusion efforts of AFB by
sourcing from the right channels to attract a wide range of talent.
This role also manages our employer brand online and will respond
to reviews and engage on social media when posts relate to working
This role is based out of our St. Charles headquarters and is
considered to be a hybrid office role, with an on-site preference
of 3 days per week, 2 days flexible.
The primary role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist include
sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview
and selection procedures, and hosting or participating in career
events. Ultimately, the responsibility is to create a strong
pipeline for our company's current and future hiring needs.
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Talent Acquisition
Specialist is responsible for the following:
Manage the full cycle of recruitment process ensuring a positive
Partner with North America Director and business partners to
identify and fulfill current and future headcount/staffing
Source and attract top talent using creative sourcing methods
Review candidates resumes and phone screen to assess relevant
experience, knowledge, and skills to match role requirements
Coordinate all stages of the interview process, prepare offer
letters, complete the pre-boarding process for all new hires.
Fill open positions in a timely manner and meet the KPIs associated
for level of position
Work with managers to ensure that updated job descriptions are on
file for all positions; assist in the development of job
descriptions for new positions
Own the ATS system (Workday), inclusive of updating job
descriptions, managing postings, processes, candidates, and all
Use the planned hires list to check in with leadership and
executive team about when to start recruitment cycles; communicate
with hiring managers about the status of each hire.
Assist in the execution of the company's recruitment strategy,
including candidate outreach, employee review campaigns, employer
branding, review responses, and social media content specific to
recruitment / employer branding
Own the URR process including career fairs, recruitment events, and
selection of candidates
Manage the internship process including selection, onboarding and
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or
related field of study
Proven experience in full lifecycle recruiting; must have
experience in managing multiple recruitment cycles at once.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing recruitment
plans and strategies for a variety of exempt and non-exempt
Experience using ATS, job boards, and social media; experience
using Workday's recruitment platform is preferred.
Demonstrated experience executing on talent strategy, including
promotion and succession planning, employer branding, and long-term
A keen understanding of the differences between various roles
Team oriented and collaborative
Strong attention to detail and superior organization skills are a
