a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as an
Employee Cook for our Independent Living facility. The right

- 403b with a 50% match up to 4%Responsibilities:
- Prepares all soups, stocks, and sauces; boils, braises, and
roasts items according to standardized recipes.
- Prepares and serves all saut--ed, fried, grilled, steamed, and
baked items following standardized recipes.
- Prepares or directs the preparation of all food served,
adhering to standard recipes and special diet orders.
- Plans food production to align with meal serving hours to
maintain food quality, temperature, and appearance.
- Determines the quantity and type of food and supplies needed
for daily menus and ensures that supplies are obtained from storage
in a timely manner for meal production.
- Prepare employee meals and deliver them to break rooms around
campus. Roughly 30 to 40 meals a day.
- Maintain cleanliness in breakrooms and keeping things stocked
and organized.Requirements:
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is preferred but not
required.
- Ability to read and write in English and to follow both written
and oral instructions in English.
- Perform basic arithmetic and understand measurements.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a cook in a hotel,
restaurant, club, or similar establishment.
- Knowledge of basic cooking methods.
- Ability to plan and organize work effectively.
- Ability to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and
standards accurately.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance, as
well as some understanding of nutrition and diet. Equal Employment
