with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Saint Louis,
Missouri, 63128! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN
Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years in
Cardiac and/or Medical ICU, CVI experience recovering open hearts
from the OR License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS and
ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 3
years of experience in Cardiac Medical ICU, inpatient only
Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient
care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other
direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with
other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of
patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a
manner consistent with professional standards. Performs direct
patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment,
planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates
patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize
patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing
preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing
practice. Working conditions may involve standing and walking for
most of the duty time. Meets unit-specific physical demands.
Requires significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning
patients with assistance. May work varying schedules and shifts
according to patient care requirements. This role includes exposure
to blood and body fluids. Essential physical tasks include pushing,
pulling, gripping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally.
