X-Ray Tech Location: Springfield, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,426 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:00 - 14:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active state license required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - Required work setting experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, Operating Room. - Required Abdomen/GI X-Ray skills: Abdomen decubitus, Abdomen supine (KUB), Abdomen upright. - Required Chest and Thorax X-Ray skills: Chest AP, Chest Lateral Decubitus, Chest routine, Upper Airway (soft tissue neck). - Required Head X-Ray skills: Facial bones, Orbits, Paranasal sinuses, Skull, Temporomandibular joints. - Required Lower Extremity X-Ray skills: Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, Tibia-Fibula. - Required Mobile/Surgical X-Ray skills: C-Arm Procedure, Portable abdomen, Portable Chest. - Required Spine and Pelvis X-Ray skills: Cervical Spine, Hip, Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Sacrum and/or Coccyx, Thoracic Spine. - Required Upper Extremity X-Ray skills: Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Scapula, Shoulder, Trauma shoulder or Humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic Axial), Wrist. - O-ARM experience required. - Cerner experience preferred. - Level I Trauma experience preferred. Description: Position requires working first shift, days, 5x8 hours, every 3rd weekend, on-call, and holidays as needed. OR experience is preferred. Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience are accepted. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates will work every weekend and holidays as needed. On-call shifts are required as needed. Candidates must be able to float within the scope to meet facility needs. Open to discussing block schedule requests with management. Local applicants are accepted with no radius restrictions. Pending licenses are not accepted; an active license is required to apply. The preferred maximum for RTO is no more than 5 days. Candidates may be called off for up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without compensation for the cancelled hours. Special requirements include diverse experiences in adult acute care settings and various X-Ray procedures. Candidates must have the capability to work in various settings including ED/Trauma, OR, general inpatients and ICU, as well as outpatient facilities. This position is sensitive, requiring all compliance needs to be completed in a timely manner. Candidates must demonstrate good attendance and behavior throughout the duration of the contract.
