Job Description Locums | Pediatric Ophthalmology | Clinic Call | St. Louis, MO Why This Role Defined short-term coverage with a predictable schedule Balanced mix of clinic, OR, and limited call Established pediatric subspecialty practice with APP support Assignment Details Locum tenens coverage for maternity/paternity leave Dates: June 1, 2026 through September 1, 2026 Clinic schedule three days per week, OR one day per week, rounding and light call one day per week Call is beeper-based with low callback volume Clinical Details Inpatient and outpatient pediatric ophthalmology Clinic volume approximately 25 patients per day NICU rounding one day per week with flexible morning hours OR day focused on pediatric ophthalmology cases Must be comfortable performing strabismus procedures Epic EMR Excludes ROP and ED coverage due to operational decisions and focusing on clinical coverage with locums. Requirements Board Certified in Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship trained Comfort supervising one advanced practice provider Ability to perform strabismus required What is the license requirement to bid? : none Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
