Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13-26 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Telemetry experience required License: Nursing License Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Team player Ability to care for positive patient outcomes Superior communication skills Description: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing practice consistent with established guidelines and standards. Expected to work full weekends unless otherwise approved. Candidates should anticipate working a major winter holiday. Requested time off up to five days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved, with additional time subject to approval. Ensures compliance with nursing practice regulations and codes of conduct. Cares for both medical and telemetry patients, with a typical patient ratio of 4-6:1.
