Louis, Missouri, 63136! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

NIHSS required Must-Have: Proficient experience with titration of
vasopressors, sedation medication, insulin drips, trach vents,
arterial lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Step Down Unit on the
night shift. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to
patients transitioning from the intensive care unit to a less acute
setting. Ratios on the unit will be 1 nurse to 4 patients. Nurses
must have experience with managing high acuity patients and
performing advanced procedures. Critical thinking and the ability
to work autonomously are essential. Candidates must have been at
the bedside within the last 6 months. The role requires the
management of complex health conditions and the administration of
multiple intravenous therapies. Nurses will be expected to float to
lower acuity floors as needed to meet facility needs. All nurses
must comply with hospital policies and protocols regarding patient
care. A strong emphasis will be placed on teamwork and
interdisciplinary collaboration. Weekend availability is required;
every other weekend commitment is essential. Documentation will be
performed using an electronic health record system. Nursing skills
related to cardiac telemetry, management of vascular access
devices, and critical care practices will be necessary. Candidates
must also demonstrate proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and
