Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Springfield,
Illinois, 62781! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

experience Description: The position requires working as a Charge
Nurse as needed. This is a Medical Surgical RN role specializing in
Urology and Nephrology. The average daily census is 23 patients in
a 25-bed unit. Weekend shifts are required, working every other
weekend. Clinicians may float to other Medical Surgical units as
needed. Candidates must exhibit competence in medical/surgical
nursing. Experience in managing pre/post hemodialysis and renal
failure is necessary. The unit frequently admits patients with
urology/nephrology illnesses and complex surgical procedures.
Staffing will include interdisciplinary support from various
medical professionals. Candidates will manage various medical
devices such as IV lines and urinary catheters. Wound care and
management are essential skills for this position. The unit
experiences a dynamic discharge and readmission rate, with an
average of 30-50% turnover per day. The ability to respond
effectively in emergency situations is crucial. Candidates must
demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills.
