Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Intensive
Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks preferred, but will accept 13 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience:
2 years of Cardiac/CVICU experience required License: Valid state
nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN Must-Have:
Needs to have Cardiac/CVICU experience. No neuro. Description: The
position requires experience in ICU, ventilator management,
arterial line management, pulmonary artery catheter management,
pacemakers, impellas, balloon pumps, LVADs, and dialysis.
Candidates should have skills in managing acute heart failure, CHF
exacerbation, fluid overload, post-cardiac arrest, complete heart
block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant, arrhythmias,
ventricular tachycardia, vasoactive drips, central lines, and
PA/TVP catheter monitoring. Experience with intra-aortic balloon
pumps and ventricular assist devices is essential. Routine
responsibilities will include comprehensive patient assessments and
care for critically ill patients. Travelers must be willing to
float within the service line when needed. This role demands a
strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. Candidates
will be prepared to work every other weekend. References may be
required. Candidates must pass a thorough EKG examination. A
flexible attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset are essential for
