Radiology RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63104! Job Title:
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered
Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of
Interventional Radiology experience plus 1 year of Emergency
Department or Intensive Care Unit experience. License: Pending
license accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required. Must-Have:
Experience with procedures such as shockwave, angiovac,
kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, Y90 treatments, trans jugular
intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, and others. Description: We are
seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse.
The average case load is approximately 20 cases per day. There are
6 Interventional Radiology rooms in the unit. An average of 8-10
on-call days per month is required, including weekends. Weekend
coverage is also part of the responsibility. First-time travelers
are accepted for this position. We encourage applicants with
previous charge nurse experience to apply. The daily patient care
involves a variety of diagnostics and interventions. Skills
required include circulating and ventilator management. The unit
supports a wide range of patient diagnoses, including stroke, GI
bleeds, and others. Special procedures performed include PEG, TIPS,
and multiple embolization techniques. Candidates should be
comfortable with both adult and geriatric patient care. This role
requires the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary
teams. Candidates must be willing to accommodate a non-block
schedule. Travelers must present an OSHA Respirator Clearance
before starting. Candidates living within 70 miles of the facility
