trauma center and Level 3 pediatric facility that provides
specialized pediatric otolaryngology services. The hospital
features a comprehensive pediatric care program with modern
facilities and cutting-edge technology including EPIC electronic
medical records system, ensuring high-quality care for pediatric
patients. Opportunity: Board Certified - Otolaryngology - Pediatric
Otolaryngology Job Details: • Provide pediatric otolaryngology
services for patients aged infant to 18 years • Clinic/hospital
hours Monday-Friday from 7:40am to 5:00pm • Patient volume of 26-30
patients per day • Weekend call coverage is required with 30-minute
response time • Call hours from 7AM to 7PM for both assigned and
unassigned patients • Handle approximately 3 phone consults per day
while on call • Manage 1-2 admissions while on call • Primarily
inpatient services • Perform general otolaryngology procedures
(surgical and non-surgical) • Conduct various endoscopic procedures
including septal, sinus, bronchoscopy (flexible and rigid), and
laryngoscopy • Perform tracheotomy procedures as needed • Must be
pediatric trained specifically • Active Missouri medical license
required • Board certification required with BLS and ATLS
certifications • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days •
Weekend-only coverage will be considered • Local candidates
preferred (no travel or lodging provided) Compensation: Competitive
hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
