registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Provide specialized nursing care on a Neurosurgical
unit, assisting patients with neurological conditions such as
stroke, seizures, multiple sclerosis, spinal issues, and
post-neurosurgery recovery. This role involves applying the nursing
process to deliver comprehensive patient care while collaborating
with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. Accountability
for patient care quality and confidentiality is paramount.

Contract duration: 13 to 26 weeks - Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM to
7:30 AM - Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 (option to increase to 48) -
Weekend hours: As needed, typically every other weekend (Saturday
and Sunday) - Call: None required - Dress code: Black scrubs
Qualifications and Experience: - Registered Nurse with a minimum of
1 year inpatient acute care experience in Medical-Surgical and
Neurosurgical settings - Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS -
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system - Willingness to float within
scope to other units as needed - Open to occasional charge nurse
responsibilities (training provided) - Ability to work with a
patient-focused, team-oriented approach Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care - Monitor and
assess neurological patients, implementing relevant interventions -
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld -
Participate in equipment checks and required FIT testing onsite
Additional Information: - Flu vaccination required for travelers
from November 1 to April 1 with approved exemptions - Patient ratio
approximately 1:5-6 - Up to 5 days requested time off per 13-week
period can be pre-approved - Expectation to work at least one major
