(08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in
medical-surgical or acute care or 1 year of home care experience
License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS
certification required Must-Have: Home health experience required
Ability to handle high acuity patients with limited resources
Proficient in detailed head-to-toe assessments, skin and wound
care, and infusion therapy Proficient in phlebotomy and lab draws
Description: This position involves providing home health care to a
diverse population of patients. The average visit ratio is around
5-20 visits per day. Clinicians will be involved in various
procedures including lab draws, IV care, ostomy care, and wound
care. Successful candidates will participate in an on-call rotation
of 3-5 nights per month. Weekend coverage is required every fourth
weekend with two days off around that weekend. Must have experience
managing patients with complex needs, including those requiring
antibiotic infusions, tube feeding, and disease management.
Familiarity with the use of wound vacs, monitors, and infusion
pumps is essential. Residents will be expected to perform patient
education and assess the medical and socioeconomic needs of
patients. Candidates must be comfortable working independently
within a 40-80 mile radius. All equipment and supplies must be
returned upon contract completion. A detailed understanding of
patient management and care in the home setting is essential. Those
