Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required Must-Have: Titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, insulin drips, trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, chest tubes. Must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months. Charting experience with EPIC required. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Step Down unit. The nurse will work night shifts and will be responsible for patient care in a fast-paced environment. Ratios are 1:4. The role requires the nurse to float to lower acuity floors as needed. The nurse is required to work two shifts every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted. All candidates must provide references. No on-call requirement. Candidates will be expected to adhere to a 75-mile local radius rule. Compliance with health and regulatory policies is mandatory. All travelers must meet specific qualifications outlined in the job requirements.
