Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Interventional scrub experience Description: Provide care as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Work as an RN Circulator in the diagnostic and interventional PCI environment. Administer conscious sedation under the direction of the attending physician. Assist in the handoff of sterile supplies and assess patient vitals. Document patient information using the electronic health record system. Participate in cross-training to run hemodynamics in a monitor tech role. Expect to handle a patient ratio of 1:1. Availability for on-call rotation is required, including one night per week and every second to fourth weekend. Weekend shifts are mandatory every other weekend. Candidates will float within the service line as needed. No block scheduling accommodations are available. All applicants must reside outside a specific local radius. Pending licenses are accepted, but the license must be secured prior to submission. Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed during the contract period. Specific patient diagnoses include AMI, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, aortic stenosis, V-Tach, endocarditis, Afib, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome. The RN Circulator role is vital to the operation, requiring specific procedural knowledge and skill.
