DescriptionAnalyst II is responsible for performing laboratory
analysis on samples received from outside customers as assigned.
Provides peer guidance to junior staff and collaborates with
laboratory supervisors to complete initiatives and maintain
operational readiness of laboratory.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:Understand and follow all procedures and processes
required to maintain Regulatory Compliance (i.e. GxP, FDA/GLP and
GCP, OECD, CLIA, etc.) and complete annual GxP trainingPrepare
chemical solutions while following standardized forms, standard
operating procedures, and test methods.Perform routine testing of
clinical samples following all applicable SOPs.Performs
qualification of reagents as needed.Perform peer review of
dataProvides cross-functional support to other departments as
requiredAnalyze and report data using LIMS and/or calculation
sheets.Mentors and trains junior staffLends scientific rationale to
method troubleshooting and performs investigational assaysHelps
maintain laboratory equipmentAssist with maintaining a safe and
clean laboratory space following EHS requirements.Adjusts work
hours as needed to meet client deadlinesAdheres to site
environmental health and safety (EHS) requirementsPerforms other
duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in
biology, microbiology, or related science.2-3 year experience in a
GxP environment.Ability to pipet accurately especially in small
volumes.Ability to multi-task effectively, demonstrate excellent
time management skills, and work under pressure.Strong attention to
detail and organization skills.Strong math skills with the ability
to calculate dilutions, molarity, normality, and
averages.Effectively communicate both verbal and written.Knowledge
of Microsoft software (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Teams).ELISA experience
mandatory.Flow Cytometry, Cell Culture, EliSpot experience a
plus.Have a positive attitudeSuccessful completion of the company's
safety program required prior to working in the lab.Additional
