business, the global science and technology leader in pet food
palatability. We develop and produce a full range of liquid and dry
palatability enhancers using high-quality ingredients proven to
optimize companion animal response and consumption. Job
DescriptionSummary Leading our global financial planning, reporting
and analysis process is the primary responsibility of the Global
Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A Manager). The
FP&A Manager plans, calendarizes and leads our formal planning
and forecasting processes with Ensign Bickford Industries, as well
as AFB's internal planning and reporting processes around: monthly
latest estimates covering all aspects of the business including
P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, headcount and capital
expenditures across our multi-unit/multi-country business model.
This position works collaboratively and closely with all functional
areas, as well as global and regional business leaders in a heavily
matrixed organization. This role plays a critical role in
developing strategy, including short- and long-term financial
objectives. .Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the
following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead AFB's global financial planning, reporting and analysis
processes and performance analyses, both internally and in support
of EBI's company-wide planning and reporting processes across both
financial and non-financial information: P&L, balance sheet,
cashflow, headcount and capital.
- Supports development of short- and long-term financial goals
and objectives.
- Directs and coordinates activities of global finance team in
support of these objectives and coordinates activities with
Regional Finance teams and EBI Corporate Finance team.
- Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast
data to determine organizational progress toward stated goals and
objectives.
- Provides timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts and
financial reports that will assist the business and senior
management in managing their responsibilities.
- Enhances and/or develops, implements and enforces policies and
procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve
the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
- Fosters continual improvement of the financial planning,
analysis and reporting processes
- Provides strategic financial input on decision making issues
affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances
acquisitions and/or mergers, capital investment and pension funds
and other investments. This includes playing an integral role in
the annual process of the development of the company's five-year
strategic plan.
- Evaluates the global finance team and plan for continual
improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as
well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth
with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals.
Develop strong talent and craft a very effective finance
organization.
- Maintains competence in general ledger software, spreadsheets
and overall general knowledge of system databases and master
files.Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises two
financial analysts. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization's policies and applicable federal
or local/regional laws. Responsibilities include interviewing,
hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing
work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.Qualifications The

- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration/Finance/Accounting, or equivalent combination of
education and experience
- Minimum eight (8) professional level industry experience
- Three (3) years experience in a supervisory position
- Prior experience working within a business operating system
that utilizes Kaizen and other related tools for process
improvement
- Desired
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree / CPA
preferred
- Experience with IFS, IFS Business Reporter and SAP Business
Planning & Consolidation softwareKnowledge, Skills & Abilities To

priorities within the company's Strategy Deployment Process.
- Ability to travel, up to 25%, as required to support the
business's operations.
- Relocatable to support Ensign-Bickford's operational business
