The Missile and Weapons Systems Division of Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking to hire a Sr. Program Management Manager (Level L) to fill the position of Program Integration Manager within the Weapons Program Portfolio.

The position reports to the Sr. Director of Program Integration Office of Weapons in St. Charles, MO and supports all major production programs, development programs, affordability initiatives, and on-time deliverables across the Cruise Missile Systems, Direct Attack Weapons, Integrated Air Missile Defense, and Laser Electro Optical Sensors Portfolios within Weapons.

The Weapons Integration Manager is a critical leadership position and will have broad leadership authority to assist in the execution of activities for Weapons programs.

The position ensures consistent management practices across programs as well as complete integration between Program Management, Production Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality.

The position also interacts with both external Customers and Suppliers. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong and independent management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Weapons PIO in oversight and execution of programmatic, business and technical strategies, goals and objectives within production as well as other strategic program areas as needed
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
  • Serves as the Weapons program management customer focal to the St. Charles DCMA leadership team
  • Provides program status briefings to Boeing and customer senior leadership
  • Works with Production Operations, Engineering, Quality, Enterprise Health & Safety (EHS) and Information Technology (IT) to lead, manage and prioritize production process, affordability initiatives, and capital improvements in forums including Oobeya, Factory Support Collaboration Center (FSCC) and the Consolidated Safety & Security Council (CSSC)
  • Works with the Supply Chain organization to provide both technical and programmatic management of suppliers while leading process improvements
  • Supports and mentors employees performing activities in the areas of program/project management
  • Drives execution of all key Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) across production, actively participating in senior leadership reviews to include Business Performance Review (BPR), Master Schedule & Recovery (MSR), Cost of Repair, Rework and Scrap (CoRRS), Corrective Action / Preventative Action (CA/PA) and Tier Centric forums
  • Ensures seamless coordination of deliverables, communication, and PMBP across teams ensuring use and visibility of the appropriate metrics
  • Leads execution, management and strategic improvement of On Time Delivery (OTD) across Weapons
  • Prepares, coordinates and facilitates production Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) management reviews utilizing established metrics
  • Maintains program operating rhythm, ensures adherence to Enterprise Standard Gated process criteria and deliverables, facilitates help-needed, root cause corrective action (RCCA), and capture of lessons learned


    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 3+ years of project management experience

      • Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

        Salary pay range: $157,250 - $212,750
