These franchise offices provide millions of hours of care annually and employ thousands of Care Pros, whose work enables seniors to live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible. The Home Instead network partners with clients and their family members to meet various individual needs. We provide services and offer resources that span the care continuum from personal care and specialized Alzheimers care to hospice support and free family caregiver education resources. Home Instead is globally changing the face of aging. The Business Development Manager is responsible for building relationships and referral partnerships with hospitals, other medical facilities, and local health care partners across the entire continuum of care. This role is responsible for sales activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals. This role will oversee the Client Care Coordinator role and responsibilities to ensure proper assessment and determine if client satisfaction is met. This is a metrics driven position, that will be responsible for managing and growing the territory. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the annual operational plans revenues, gross profit, profitability and other operational goals by the stated milestones.
  • Oversee the Client Care Coordinator to ensure proper assessment and determine if client satisfaction is met.
  • Build relationships with the Honor Care Team to confirm ongoing coordination of client care.
  • Responsible for researching and developing referral provider relationships and producing referrals.
  • Perform all phases of the consultative sales processes which includes recommendation of appropriate Home Instead services, additional community resources, maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts, and follow-up, as necessary.
  • Appropriately track and document sales activities within Salesforce.
  • Achieve inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include, but are not limited to, hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, rehabilitation centers, etc.
  • In conjunction with Home Instead franchise leadership, develop sales and marketing plans, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Home Instead brand. Effectively present Home Instead marketing materials and services to referral providers, including 1:1 meetings, as well as planning, arranging and conducting formal group presentations to referral providers.
  • Manage outcomes of all department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to all employees.
  • Maintain and establish strong relationships with neighboring franchise owners.
  • Perform any and all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary for the successful operation of a Home Instead franchise office.This role may be a great fit if you're someone with experience in sales and account management, establishing and maintaining strong business relationships, and managing a small team, within the Home Health or Healthcare industry. To succeed in this role you'll need:
    • A Bachelor's degree (required)
    • Five to eight years of related sales experience (an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered)
    • A valid Missouri drivers license (required)If you have any of the following, we consider that a plus!
      • 2 years experience in the healthcare industry
      • Salesforce/CRM experience
