The National Account Manager is responsible for developing the growth and retention strategy for Zaxby's.

The right person for this role will have demonstrated success in:

* Developing business with national restaurant chains, Zaxby's strongly preferred
* Setting and executing sales strategies at the corporate level with national restaurant chains, fast casual restaurants preferred
* Team leadership and development

Location Requirements:

* This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the continental US.
* Up to 75% travel expected.

Primary Job Responsibilities

* Work cross-functionally on strategy development / execution plans for the Zaxby's brand
* Develop and deploy strategies to achieve growth and retention goals across all products as well as to sell new products and services.
* Demonstrate strong leadership and planning skills; Coach and develop a team to sell value and hold them accountable for building and working the sales pipeline to exceed goals.
* Travel throughout the US to achieve growth & retention objectives, provide business updates, identify customer needs and build strong relationships with Senior Corporate, Franchisee and Third Party Procurement leaders in each brand
* Work closely with RT operations and shared services partners across the company to collectively deliver profitable growth and an outstanding customer experience
* Build strong cross functional relationships and trust internally and externally
* Use RT sales systems (CRM, CLM) to to track and plan sales activity
* Consistently achieve quarterly and annual goals for growth and retention to support RT's growth and goals
* Ensure smooth roll-out for customer installs
* Accurately forecast new business monthly and quarterly


* 15+ years with a track record of success in selling value added services to senior leaders in national accounts in the restaurant industry (casual, fast causal, or quick serve)
* Strong experience selling to franchisees required
* Successful track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual growth and retention goals
* Executive presence, top quartile in verbal, mathematical and logical reasoning skills, ability to communicate effectively to all levels in an organization, strong alignment to RT leadership competencies
* Excellent organizational planning, communication, and time management skills
* Strong business and financial acumen
* Strong relationship development and problem solving skills with a solutions based, team oriented mindset
* Proven ability to adapt to change, be open to performance feedback, work successfully in a team environment and influence others to execute a brand strategy
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM
* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, master's degree is a plus
* Ability to travel nationally, with regular overnight travel up to 75% required, which will include some nights and weekends
