We continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.The Vendor Management team executes the firm's technology strategies by managing the vendor relationship, operations, and ensuring the appropriate allocation of vendor spend. This role will establish and implement the following processes to support a rapidly evolving technology landscape with an increasing use of vendors to achieve Technology division goals and objectives in line with firm strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain vendor relationships to provide high quality, cost-effective external services
  • Educate and support teams on the operating models with vendors to ensure streamlined onboarding, offboarding and execution of efforts,
  • Provide consistent and centralized processes for contingent workforce resources
    • Develop and implement appropriate governance structures and processes with vendors
    • Develop and implement effective statement of work (SOW) creation, review & approval process
    • Develop cross functional relationships with vendor and internal stakeholders, including Sourcing, Legal, HR, and other Technology areas
    • Develop, implement and improve vendor performance metrics. Hold vendors accountable to established performance metrics. Investigate and resolve vendor performance issues and partner with vendors to drive continuous improvement.
    • Work with vendors to identify and develop next-generation capabilities in support of the Technology Digital Strategy
      • Partner with PMO and Finance division to perform financial reconciliation and appropriate allocation of vendor related expenses.
      • Work with leaders across Digital to understand their needs, aggregate demand, and share with vendors
      • Construct framework for preferred vendor list based on quantifiable criteria.
      • Manages and develops self while internalizing leadership feedback.
      • Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships across teams, departments, countries, vendors and other divisions.
      • Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors while aligning to the firms objectives.
      • Market knowledge of IT products, and services (hardware and software) and current trends
      • Understanding of sourcing legal & risk processes
      • Understanding of system development methodologies and processes within technology (agile, change management, QA, Project Life Cycle, etc.)
      • Able to appropriately react to vendor governance issues.Requirements:
        • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
        • Familiarity with major global vendors
        • Experience with either Purchasing or Managing SOW labor contracts. Both would be preferred.
        • Strong understanding of negotiating and managing large scale SOWs
        • Experience with demand planning (technology labor)
          • Knowledge of vendor performance/risk management
          • Solid understanding around the management of contingent labor vendors
          • Solid understanding of financial accounting / P&L
          • Experience working with data and analytics
          • Up to 10% travel

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
