In addition to having responsibility for Wholesale Banking------s execution of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program, WFCRC is also responsible for the remediation of the OCC BSA/AML Consent Order. This team will partner with line of business (------LOB------), operations, risk and compliance team members, Wholesale Control Executive Office, Enterprise Financial Crimes Risk Management, Wells Fargo Audit Services, and Testing & Validation to advocate and ensure alignment in scope, purpose, expectations and execution of the Wholesale Financial Crimes Program. The team will achieve this through a focus on strong communication, strategic planning, thoughtful and meaningful tracking/reporting, and timely escalation and change management.Within WFCRC, the WFCRC Audit & Exam Management (WFCRC AEM) team with the Domestic Financial Crimes Audit Team (FiCAT) , Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) Targeted Risk and Control Evaluation (TRACE), and U.S. Regulators by managing audit and testing engagements. The WFCRC AEM manages ad-hoc request lists, facilitates meetings with key stakeholders, provides credible challenge and researches observations for appropriateness and risk appetite. The WFCRC AEM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, forward-thinking Operational Risk Consultant (ORC). The ORC will report to the WFCRC AEM ORC5. --Individual Responsibilities --

• Assisting the WFCRC AEM manager with managing the interaction with WFAS (Domestic), FCRM TRACE, and U.S. Regulators
• Providing BSA/AML expertise and oversight to the Wholesale BAU and CO efforts. This ORC specifically will review all initiatives with a BSA/AML lens to ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations and Wells Fargo Policies and procedures, with a focus on sustainable and repeatable processes
• Reviewing critical artifacts that support remediation action plan items, as well as consultation and collaboration with WFCRC. The position may lead/interact with multiple domain topic teams and would have the added complexity of understanding multiple, varied business domains as well as multiple business leads. This position interacts with senior leadership and major stakeholders to gather and communicate progress against strategic plans and objectives for the program

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit------s risk appetite, and all risk and compliance program requirements.
  
  Required Qualifications
  
  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

          The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
