The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is building the future -
creating innovative solutions that will define the next generation
of aerospace. Our team is seeking motivated, talented Associate
(Level 2), Mid-Level (Level 3), and Senior (Level 4) Structural
Design Engineers to join the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems
(SIWS) Systems Engineering Team in Saint Charles, MO. You will
innovate, develop, maintain and modify structural systems and
component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or
other design methods, to provide product definition to other
engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external
customers throughout the product lifecycle.
The Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS) organization is
dynamic and growing with a leadership team focused on attracting
and developing top talent in support of critical missions on Direct
Attack (DA) and Cruise Missiles Systems (CMS) programs. Connected
to our customers' missions, we deliver unique capability through
our exceptional talent. The programs that we support in Saint
Charles, Missouri include Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP,
HAAWC and associated derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM ER,
Harpoon and development weapons) utilized on various Military
Aircraft, some Ground-Based Platforms, along with other future
contract awards.
Position Responsibilities Include:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security
Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a
condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret
Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Typical Education/Experience
Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired
through advanced technical education from an accredited course of
study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related
work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education
and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the
preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Mid-Level (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired
through advanced technical education from an accredited course of
study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related
work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education
and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not
required, accreditation standard.
Senior 4 (Level 4 Education/experience typically acquired through
advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in
engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
(e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work
experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and
experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7
years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is
the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal
candidates.

guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and
qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $75,650 - $102,350
Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $90,100 - $121,900
Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $113,050 - $152,950
Referrals to this job are eligible for a monetary employee
bonus.
