Job Description:

Bax Engineering Company, a team oriented full service civil engineering and land surveying firm located in St. Charles, MO, is currently seeking civil design engineers for our commercial and municipal design groups. We are looking for both entry level and experienced engineers with a desire to learn and grow. Experience or interest in commercial site design, roadways, sewer and utility extensions, parks, and storm water control and management is desired. We offer the opportunity to work in a team environment with ample room for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate civil site, stormwater, and related projects
• Prepare plans and specifications
• Prepare project cost estimates and write proposals
• Supervise designers in the drafting of plans and details
• Interact with public and private client
• Conduct occasional site/field inspections of project locationsQualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 0 to 5+ years engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Team oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Desire to learn new skills and take on new challenges
