We have an opening for a Middleware/Web Engineer role and its remote position. Below are some additional details for your review:Position: Middleware/Web EngineerLocation: O'Fallon, MODuration: 12 to 24 months (Open to a full-time conversion down the line)Qualifications:* BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.* Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.* We support many different stakeholders. Experience in dealing with difficult situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency is needed.* Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.* Must have experience supporting a web application in a Linux Environment* Supporting and troubleshooting/bug tracking API based applications * Experience managing and replacing security certificatesExperience:* 6+ years of experience in IT* Responsible for Infrastructure Platform support for the program* Responsible for configuration management of infrastructureTechnical skills - Good understanding of all/some of the core concepts mentioned below:* Unix / Linux / Shell Scripting* Understanding middleware technologies - JBoss, Tomcat, WebSphere, and ApacheCertificate Management:* Protocols - SSLv2/3, TLSv1/2/3* OpenSSL Monitoring tools like:* Splunk* Dynatrace* Stack Trace AnalysisThank you!
