qualifications will not be considered. School Physical Therapist
(PT) Location:Florissant, MO Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
(On-Site Only) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School
Physical Therapist to provide a full range of physical therapy
services to students with disabilities within a school setting. The
ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary
team to support student success and help them access their
education. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive physical
therapy assessments to identify students' needs and develop
individualized education programs (IEPs). - Provide direct and
indirect physical therapy services to students, addressing gross
motor skills, mobility, strength, balance, and coordination. -
Develop and implement treatment plans that align with students'
educational goals. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other
school staff to integrate physical therapy goals into the classroom
and home environments. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation
of student progress, treatment plans, and evaluations. -
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of
student goals and objectives. - Provide training and support to
school staff on topics such as proper lifting techniques, adaptive
equipment use, and positioning. - Stay current on best practices
and advancements in pediatric physical therapy. Qualifications: -
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited
program. - Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a
school or pediatric setting. - Strong understanding of federal and
state special education laws and regulations. - Excellent
communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. - Ability
