Location: Saint Louis, MissouriJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $46 - 53 per hourWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Digital Production Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, capable of both independent work and collaborative efforts, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in digital file creation for packaging.Responsibilities:Construct digital files in a memory-efficient, accurate, and error-free manner, ensuring proper use of trademarks and logos, and adherence to all legal, regulatory, and quality standards.Apply internal standards for good typography, including proper hyphenation, kerning, line breaks, and legibility, while maintaining accurate sizes and specifications.Ensure all projects are routed to a Proofreader for review before presentation to the review group.Work collaboratively with Creative and Production Services to gather necessary information for project completion, prioritize tasks effectively, manage project timelines, and communicate any potential delays to the project manager.Responsible for creating design variations or entire designs as outlined by the project's Art Director.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Production.Extensive knowledge of macOS.Thorough knowledge and advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, including advanced key commands, paragraph formatting, typography, style sheets, and tab fields.Demonstrated experience with pet food packaging die-vinyls.Vital experience in print/press processes and requirements, including color and pre-press knowledge.Must be comfortable with data asset management and workflow tools.Ability to color correct and retouch photos (optional, but a plus).A highly detailed, accuracy-based, and proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills.Strong digital file management and archiving skills.JOBID: 1096617LI-CELLALI-MM2PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
